Is Cliny Pet a veterinarian?

No. Cliny Pet is an AI triage assistant. It helps you decide whether — and how urgently — to see a real veterinarian. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace a licensed vet. Every assessment ends with a recommendation to see a vet when needed.

What languages does Cliny Pet support?

Cliny Pet supports 15 languages: English, Turkish, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Greek, French, Hindi, and Portuguese. The AI replies in whichever language you wrote in — so you can describe symptoms in Turkish and get a Turkish response.

Do I have to upload photos?

Photos are optional but they help. You can describe symptoms in text only, attach up to three photos, or both. For best results, take clear, well-lit close-ups of the affected area.

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

All your data — pet profiles, photos, conversations — is stored on EU servers (Amsterdam region). We are GDPR compliant by design. Photos are stripped of GPS metadata automatically and stored in a private bucket; only you can access them.

Can I export or delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. From Settings → Privacy you can request a full export of your account data (JSON + photos as a zip), or request deletion. Deletion is immediate-soft (recoverable for 30 days) and then permanent. Detailed self-service tools land in our Privacy & Compliance phase.

Is my data used to train AI models?

Accepted Answer

No. Your photos, pet profiles, and conversations are not used to train AI models. We have a data processing agreement with our AI provider that explicitly forbids training on customer data.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes — cancel any time, no questions. You keep access until the end of your current billing period, then your account downgrades to read-only (you can still view past triages but can't run new ones). If you change your mind, resubscribing restores full access.

No — Cliny Pet doesn't offer refunds. You can cancel any time and keep full access until the end of your current billing period; after that, your account becomes read-only. Any mandatory rights under your local consumer-protection law are unaffected.

What if it's a real emergency right now?

If your pet's life may be at risk, contact a veterinarian or emergency animal hospital immediately. Cliny Pet's AI is a triage assistant, not a substitute for emergency veterinary care. When our assessment flags EMERGENCY urgency, we point you to the fastest path to a real vet.

What are the AI's limits?

The AI cannot diagnose, prescribe medication, identify breed or age from a photo alone, or replace a hands-on veterinary examination. It can: assess urgency, identify warning signs, suggest immediate first-aid steps within safe limits, and help you prepare for your vet visit.

Which animals does Cliny Pet cover?

Cliny Pet's AI is most accurate for dogs and cats, and works well for rabbits, birds, reptiles, small mammals (hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets), and fish. For exotic species, the AI flags lower confidence and always recommends a specialist veterinarian. Wild animals and livestock are outside our scope.
